Carl Bilter's 1957 Chrysler New Yorker

This is the car the day after my parents bought it, on March 8, 1987, at my house.
This is my Dad and my son Ray with the New Yorker and the Kane County Car Club in 1989.

Mom & Dad with the New Yorker at a cruise-in in 2001.
In 2012, the car came to Iowa via Reliable Carriers in an 80 foot trailer to reside with me and my wife.
This 1957 New Yorker is truly a "survivor." Other than replacement of mechanical components for reliability and safety, the car still appears as it did when purchased in 1987; that is, it is a factory original unrestored car that has been preserved. A car is only original once. One can restore a car many times, but one can never replace the charm of the original factory patina.
